Meet the team: Malcolm Bridgeford
Recently promoted to chief operating officer from customer solution director, Malcolm is one of Aerogility’s founders. He is responsible for managing the delivery and support of customer projects and has over 30 years’ experience in the software industry, having worked in a variety of managerial and technical roles in the UK, USA and Europe.
Malcolm started his career as a software developer and project lead at CAP Scientific, developing real-time control systems for nuclear reactors and flight simulations. Over the last 10 years, he has worked exclusively in the aerospace and defence sector.
He is currently the lead for our Lockheed Martin and Rolls-Royce projects and is involved with both the technical development of the product and cultivating our current and new customer relationships, as well as mentoring the any new technical team members. Outside of work, Malcolm loves being active: he is a keen squash player, enjoys going to the gym and walking his dogs. His other interests include playing bridge and visiting libraries and bookshops. Finally, although it can be a rare occurrence, Malcolm loves to watch Scotland winning sporting events!
