Lost Wax (now Aerogility) delivers aerospace use cases to the CONTRACT research project

31 Aug 2007

Lost Wax (now Aerogility) has delivered the first set of aerospace use cases to the CONTRACT research project.

The project is a consortium of European universities, supported by business representatives, and funded by the European Commission in the context of the 6th Framework Program. The aim of the project is to provide new innovative solutions, which specifically help bridge the gap between the new large-scale applications in Digital Business Ecosystems and the need for sound software and business guarantees for such systems.

Lost Wax has been working with the research partners over the last year. We have been asked to assist with the development of business requirements and use cases to provide a practical focus for the researchers. The Aerogility team at Lost Wax have developed ‘contracting for availability’ use cases for aerospace asset management. We are interesting in the formal mechanisms that are now being developed for contract verification in a web services environment and the potential application to Aerogility Manager.

The CONTRACT program members include:

  • Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
  • Czech Technical University
  • Fujitsu
  • Imperial College
  • Kings College

Use case participants:

  • Certicon A.S.
  • Lost Wax Aerogility
